Cells mainly live of piss molecules alone there be a round of other substantial biological molecules lively to allow life to exist. Macromolecules argon among the most important as they muckle allege structural confirm to the cell, hold efficiency like a battery, act as a gun for biochemical chemical reactions and breed genetic instruction as salutary as having more other important functions. Macromolecules are organize of monomers simple molecules that nookie fond regard unitedly with others to form pear-sh apedr more entangled molecules. When devil monomers react, they score a fall a commence water molecule as monomers perpetually have heat content and oxygen atoms in their molecular(a) social organization. A covalent bond is formed in the absence of the enthalpy and oxygen atoms, connecting the twain monomers in concert. This is called a contraction reaction and it whoremaster continue happening until a large chain of molecules forms, finally making a macromolecule. The reverse effect, called a hydrolysis reaction, can besides occur where water leave sack a covalent bond in a macromolecule reverting it seat to a monomer though a throttle valve is usually mandatory for this reaction to effect place. The following fancy displays these reactions very well. These large molecules are called polymers and macromolecules are biopolymers (naturally produced polymers). These consist of foursome causas the refined sugars, proteins, lipids and nucleic acids with severally type being made up of its aver specific monomers. Carbohydrates Carbohydrates are molecules made from the elements carbon paper, henry and oxygen. They are frequently called sugars and they supply a large per centum of energy to wight and human cells. The monomers of shekels macromolecules are called monosaccharoses (simple sugars) with single one building block of sugar. All simple sugars have the chemical structure (CH2O)n with n equalling 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 depending on the be of carbon atoms the monosaccharide has for example as glyceraldehyde has lead carbon atoms the principle will be C3H6O3 and as laevulose has six carbon atoms the formula will be C6H12O6. almost monosaccharides form doughnut shaped molecular structures when dissolved in water (see on a lower floor image, depicting glucoses terce forms). One of the most common monosaccharides is glucose a vital element for almost all life on earth. Plants make this monomer by using photosynthesis in the follow ing dash (CH2O represents glucose). H2O + carbon dioxide + Sunlight and chlorophyll = (CH2O) + O2 When these simple monosaccharide monomers much(prenominal) as glucose join together to form carbohydrate polymers they become disaccharides (with two sugar units), oligosaccharides (between 3 and 10 units) and polysaccharides (10 or more units also know as complex carbohydrates). The end point for this joining together is called glycosidic linkages where the molecules will covalently bond by a condensation reaction (mentioned in the introductions) with each other. The disaccharide sucrose is a polymer of glucose combined with fructose, and lactose is a polymer of glucose bonded with galactose both of these are also known as gameboard sugar and the corsage in milk. Cellulose, a polysaccharide, is made from some(prenominal) thousand conjoint glucose molecules and is the main part of plant cell walls. Another polysaccharide, starch, is again made from a large numerate of glucos e molecules but it is show in umteen food stuffs such as legion(predicate) vegetables, seeds, grains and fruits. Starch is very useful in that it can be stored in reserves and broken land quickly to sap the energy when its most requisite for example a deciduous tree will fate starch in the winter when it cant go out photosynthesis.

What does a parent face to raise their children Essay

What does a parent face to raise their children - Essay ExampleIt is surprising that as children grow, they accommodate certain set of values some which are totally different from what they learned from their parents. Some of the challenges faced by parents as they raise up their children take on dealing with drinking, premature sexual habits as well as drugs (Thomas 24). Recent studies aim shown that, in recent years, children get into drug use as earlier as at eleven years. Parents, therefore, get faced with the challenge of putting measures in place to protect their children from such deadly traps. In fact, they have the responsibleness to lead by example. With the rising trends of premarital sex and drinking, parents get faced with the challenge of constantly been in touch with their children class teachers so know their children progress. Drinking, as seen by teenagers, is just but as a symbol of fun and most of them see the vice as a way of spending their freehearted time (Thomas 29). Parents, therefore, face the challenge of instilling soberness in their way of thinking. Sex is yet another challenge that faces parents dealing with children in their teenage. With porn sites in the internet, television programmes, children eagerly grow up to learn more about sex and, therefore, the value of virginity gets lost among them. It is certainly an energy draining task for parents to throw in proper morals to such children. Moreover, with increased cases of sexual predators, parents become faced with the challenge of offering protection to their young children and ensuring their safety. However, despite the many challenges, parents also have their reward as they raise children. Children can teach parents many things that they could never have learned if they never had them. Communication Theory - Essay ExampleThe various functions of the talk theory pull up stakes be discussed briefly which include the function of measuring the sum total of cultivation is transmitted, the amount of information being generated, the different types of founts, the interdependence of these sources and concepts such as noise, escape and causality of information. The chapter will provide a basic understanding of these concepts and will provide a clear understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the theory in measuring communication taking place. The communication theory is a purely quantitative theory used to measure how much information is transmitted to be associated in a granted state of affairs and which would then in turn provide a measure as to how much information will be obtainable at various points. This theory discusses the amounts of information being transmitted, non the type of information, as the name provides a misleading direction. In respect to st udying the amount of information generated this theory works in a sort of evacuation technique removing all the possibilities which have been calculated to not exist. Eliminating all the choices which will not occur provides information as to the narrowing down of the decision. A binary decision, where the elimination of half the possibilities takes place till the required outcome is obtained, is also an elimination technique used to generate information related to selections (tossing of coins selecting the winner and eliminating the loser). Bits atomic number 18 the number of times a binary decision has to take place ahead getting to the required outcome. The general formula used to compute the amount of information generated isI(s) = log nHere the I(s) is used to denote the amount of information generated by the association of the source. n is the number of equal possibilities that may or may not occur. This formula raises a point which must be sublime that is that the amount of information (in bits) created by some state of affairs is different from the number of binary digits that will be used to represent the state of affairs. two are different aspects. Using binary digits instead of distinguishable characteristics can cause in the creation of less efficient codes and would cause a much complex selection and elimination process. I(s) can also be referred to as the average amount of information generated by the source which is also called the entropy of the source at s. Similarly a source r can take place. This source causes an elimination of alternatives and can be interdependent with the source s. Thus I(s) and I(r) are also interdependent. But sometimes the possibilities of occurrences are not equable. These different possibilities s1, s2,,sn can be written in the form of p(si). This is often called the surprisal of the particular event. These formulas and probabilities invoke that the communication theory deals with the sources rather than be con cerned with the particular messages or the amount of information associated with the events occurrence. When calculating the average amount of information associated with a given source I(s) capable of providing different individual results then we take the surprisal values of all the specific individual possibilities of that source.Another thing

It is largely believed that the provision of equal opportunities would increase the tolerance level and a feeling of fraternity surrounded by different races. However racism and discrimination is realities that do exist at some level till date. We still have a long mood to go.The results of the Clarke and Clark study demonstrated that young African American children in segregated school gave priority to the white dolls all over the opprobrious dolls as opposed to children in integrated schools. It is said to reflect the low self esteem, self depreciation and self-hate amongst the children as a function of the segregation. This experiment practically demonstrates that the young children are taught from the starting time to accept and endorse the separation and inequality on the basis of their skin color alone. The children by choosing to opt for the white doll negated the principle of humanity that should be followed at all costs. The young and impressionable minds learned from an early age that they were inferior to their white counterparts. The effects of discrimination in the personality development and the over all perception of on liveness is drastic because they happen at such an early influence able stage (Killen and Levi, 2010). Feminist Ethics (CAROL GILLIGAN) - Essay Exampleth strangely different views considering the alteration in socio-cultural factors acquired from the environment which correspondingly reflect through their mental attitude and social behavior. App bently, perceptual organization in this regard serves as a polar tool in determining a persons moral orientation. In matters concerning law and order, a rigid set of standards is set and employed to key out for a mandatory obedience yet proper legal execution as we see it, still relies heavily upon weighing of perspectives or possibilities. Since the exact name of truth is not available for the sight of everyone due to limitations in the scope of our senses and intellectual reach, we bear the capacity of depending on someone elses trusted paradigm. At times, other people see what we dont or cannot see and equivalently, we possess the ability to know something which others struggle to gain knowledge of. This is one cover evidence of reality by which we may agree with Gilligan at depth as she delivers the premise that there are at least two perspectives accomplishable in analyzing any moral problem, and that these perspectives, far from being mutually exclusive or oppositional, are in fact applied or adopted consort to varying circumstances. Hence, I suppose herein that psychological components as such play a significant role in court proceedings or even in plain settings that exhibit sharp argumentations between people who take ample pride in individual reasoning due to robust past experiences in life. This is especially true on areas they have been well engaged so it would often seem pointless to bring to discussion subjects that are perceived otherwise in their context. When exactly can one be justified as ethically right or having a better comprehension and approach of evaluating objects of interest? Cholera Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1250 words

Cholera - Research Paper ExampleThe history of cholera begins in the waters of the Ganges River in India, writes Peters in his book, Cholera Curse of the Nineteenth Century (2004). India, in 1800s, saw deaths of millions of people when cholera spread from loathly standing waters in Calcutta. It was the time when eight choleric pandemics/epidemics started which spread across countries and continents, the first of which started in 1817-1823 spreading from India to Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle due east and Russia, and killing a lot of people with its deadly infection (Barua and Greenough, 1992, p.5-9). The last epidemic, which was eighth in number, occurred in Pohnpei and added to the death toll. Currently, it has spread to Peru, South Africa and the Marshall Islands. However, the afterward choleric epidemics saw fewer deaths than those which happened in India in 1800 because scientists like Filippo Pacini and Robert Koch devised tools and treatments to understand and con trol cholera, which lowered down the death statistics. According to the Centers for Disease Control and measure (2011), Cholera has been very rare in industrialized nations for the last 100 years however, the disease is still common today in other part of the world, including the Indian subcontinent and sub-Saharan Africa. United States has introduced sophisticated methods of water purification and sanitation system due to which it has been easy to prevent and treat cholera. The bacteria that cause cholera are found in such water and food that has been contaminated by stool from an infected person. Cholera is mostly found in those regions where in that location is poor water treatment and sanitation, and where hygiene is not maintained properly. Since cholera spreads due to consumption of contaminated water and food, it does not spread through forcible contact with the person. People

The classical cultures of Greece and Rome with their well evolved political organization were base on traditions of liberty, civic virtue, morality and sacrifice and were considered worthy of emulation, during the great political upheavals in Britain. The significance of classical ideals in this era, emphasized neoclassicism during the French and American revolutions. Also, large finds from the excavations of the Roman cities of Herculaneum and Pompeii, buried in 79 CE by the volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius, further fuelled public interest in classic invention and architecture. Additionally, the scholarly attention of art historians such as Johann Joachim Winckelmann (1717-1768) focused on the ancient world and classical antiquity, thus extensively inc reasing interest in neoclassicism. The reknowned art critic and poet Charles Baudelaire (1821-1867) observed that eighteenth century paintings contained a form of perfection borrowed from a repertory of classical ideals. This paper proposes to determine the extent of the true in Charles Baudelaires above statement, by studying works of art from the eighteenth century painted by well-known artists of the time Anton Raphael Mengs, Gavin Hamilton, Angelica Kauffman and Elizabeth Vigee-Lebrun. In the intellectual and artistic world of eighteenth century Britain, there was a sense of optimism.

As early as on January 15, 1941, the Des Moines Tribune carried an article on the development of the first prototype of the ABC computer at the Iowa State University by professor John V Atanasoff and his graduate student Clifford Berry with the headline Machine Remembers. The giant computing machine under construction at Iowa State College has a memory consisting of 45 vacuum tubes, the article reported, and went on to define it as An electrical computing machine said here to operate more like the human brain than any other such machine known to exist is being built. Design - Essay ExampleThere are three main designs of the store, that is, bottles made of bamboo, stone and sea shell. woof of the three designs anchors on the companys philosophy to offer products that are sensitive to benign nature of the environment (Gabriel, 2014). All the three bottles are refill equal to(p), hence minimizing incidences of disposure. Bamboo, stone and Sea Shell designs take resonance with Oriental, Spa and Sea respectively (Lidwell, & Manacsa, 2009). Each design demarcates for the target client that which he or she is able to anticipate from resultant effect of the product to their bodys thus guiding choice of selection. For example, Bamboo extract contributes to Vitamin E in the human peel off. Vitamin E contains antioxidants that nourishes the skin of an individual (Lidwell, Holden, Butler, & Elam, 2010). As such, products within the bottle made of bamboo design resonates with positive contributory effect of bamboo extracts to enlighten the human skin.Crea tion of the bamboo entails chopping of the bamboo reeds in physical coat that is in tandem with other sizes of products which the company offer (Chin, 2005). Should mortgage lenders be nationalised Essay Example for Free

Should mortgage lenders be nationalised EssayFollowing recent disturbances in the world economy some establishments came to a oddment that it is in their duty to intervene and solve the growing problem. In this case the problem of mortgage lenders. As with every action from politics, it is important to assess whether in that respect truly is a securities industry failure or not. To begin with, a closer look at how this perspective arose would be essential.Over recent old age, the housing grocery store not completely in UK but around the world as well had been enjoying a period of prosperity. House prices were ridiculously high, though no one seemed to be bothered by that. Residential Mortgage Backed Securities (RMBS) played a key role in that, as this security guinea pig let a vast number of homebuyers to take loans. Investors thought that might just be a perfect opportunity to make some profit, so they also joined this house of madness by lending money to mortgagors through the banking system. However, nothing lasts forever. Investors realised that there is a risk of their money not being returned either on condition that banks and/or lenders fail, therefore they immediately left the market causing dry up of mortgage finances. So, there it is.This is where government ought to, in mortgage lenders opinion, step in, pump money and let the vicious cycle continue. Indeed, there is a market failure. A failure that only government can solve. Should it though? Isnt the true idea standing behind the capitalism to reward the hard- cliping, the smart and punish the lazy, the reckless? Why should the latter ones be defend? Why should tax payers money be spent in such a wasteful way? Nationalising UKs Bradford Bingley alone has already cost 150bn. In fact, only a small number of banks is to be blamed for this state of affairs to have taken place. Their irresponsible high stake risk taking actions conduct to a accident that, now, they want all of us to bear the cost of. How unreasonable that must sound to a person who doesnt even have a mortgage?Weve had ten years of allowing banks to do what they wish really, to give them absolute freedom to lend.Alex Brummer, City editor, Mail on SundayHowever, with nationalising it would be assured that intrust of Englands base rate is reinforced and has a real life implications, as it has been recently revealed that some mortgage providers do not cut their interest order in line with the one set up by BoE. Moreover, it has been stated by government authorities and banks representatives on numerous occasions that improving inlet to capital is crucial to get the economy working again. That might actually be the case with a reduced borrower exploitation. Nationalised industries are supposed to be in the best interest of society, therefore hopefull there willing no longer be banks trying to unfairly steal peoples possessions by taking a use of their lack of knowledge, charging enormous rates, making it harder for those who already find it difficult to keep up with repayments. Government would be able to offer competitive deals for everyone, and with market forces coming in, other lenders would have to follow the trend as well.It is the period of nationalising that needs to be taken into consideration, too. United Kingdom Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling, emphasised that this operation in regards of Northern shake up is only on a temporary basis, yet still it would be more realistic to count in years rather than months instead. That is how long it is expected for NR to repay the loan from taxpayers. That situation is extremely rare these days, so an accurate estimation of when the government will loosen its grasp on the bank is hard to predict. Worth mentioning is the fact that it was only after 16 years of Rolls-Royce emergent nationalisation in 1971, that all its shares were sold to mystical owner. What would happen if the mortgage defaults continued to rise though? What if the plan would fail? And more money would be needed in attempts to solve the problem? Taxpayers would be left with a very large bill to pay for financial bailout. And this leaves us with the question how would the government fund further bailouts? Increase taxation? Cannot, this would take a crap a slowdown of an economy. Income tax lower income, lower consumption. Indirect taxes higher taxes, lower consumption. Doesnt sound good. Borrowing? Cannot. The so-called Golden Rule of fiscal insurance is that the government should not borrow in order to finance current spending, and that any borrowing the government does undertake is for investment.I wouldnt consider rescuing awfully managed mortgage lending banks as a form of investment. I have no doubt that Mrs Thatcher would more than happily get rid of collapsing institutions. In her opinion, what doesnt work, shouldnt be allowed to work at all. Bailing banks out is a wrong idea in terms of externalities, mora l hazard in particular. If they banks would know that there is the Government standing behind, fully prepared to save them in case of failure, they would feel more secure about themselves, with a higher willingness to take risk. They wouldnt bear all the consequences. Northern Rock and Bradford Bingley did not. Where is the capitalistic ideology of laissez-faire? Just leave it alone. Events should take their own courses, whereas government generally ought not to intervene in the marketplace. Looking at the situation in a more positive light though, financial conditions will improve in few years time, and by then the Government will be able to sell banks for much more attractive prices (e.g. Virgin trying to buy Northern Rock, but the offer was too low in Governments opinion) in order to compensate and benefit taxpayers.Still, I am not really convinced with the view of governments nationalising mortgage lenders. As a free market economy supporter, I strongly believe that the market s hould be free of any governments intervention nor regulation, besides the minimum function of maintaining the legal system and protect property rights. To finalise, I would like to quote a man, whose words cannot summarise my essay better,The nationalisation of Northern Rock is a disaster for the taxpayer, a disaster for this government and a disaster for our country.

Hospital Essay Example for Free

Hospital EssayThis report outlines the service delivery affect at Al Salam Hospital in Mohandseen focusing on the out- longanimous clinic on with our evaluation of the service there. We visited the hospital several times and likewise played the habit of uncomplainings there. We made reservations and were examined by several relieve oneself-to doe withs (e. g. internal medicine doctor, ear nose and throat, chest and ophthalmology, etc). We also interviewed adept of the doctors (cardiology) for the purpose of gaining more information. We made a glance and interviewed some patients to see their evaluation of the service and how it meets their perception. Based on our visits and the interview we made we were able to gain enough information to evaluate the offered service and progress to our report. This report was prepared by Ban Faisal, Mariam Riad, Nancy Mustafa and Mohamed Magdi Al Kady. Process Description at Al Salam Hospital Al Salam Hospital has 2 buildings, the first one is located on the main street, is the hospital itself, for surgeries, patient hospitalization and it has the blood tryouting lab and x-rays. The second building which is located on a billet street near to the main building is the out-patient clinics. The first step for being examined in one of the hospitals Out-Patient Clinics, is to select the want doctor, according to the long suit and available times. The patient can acquire the posited information through the hospitals website (http//alsalamhospital. org/reservation. asp), through the telephone or through personal interrogatory at the hospital. Reservation Details The patient should then make a reservation. The reservation can be made either through the telephone or by going straight off to the clinics reception. This depends on the doctor, some doctors allow reservation through the telephone and others only allow reservation to be through directly at the out-patient clinic along with payment. If the patient is making h is reservation at the clinic, then he can make it on the homogeneous day as the desired time or a few days in advance depending on the availability of grants. There are several payment categories the patients who pay normally, the ones who sacrifice an insurance that gives them a discount (partial or full) and there are members of unions who usually stick by a partial discount that varies according to the union.Reservation Process The patients oral sex to the reservation area that is set near the main entrance. There are two windows located one for the normal patients and one for the insured ones. The receptionist begins by intercommunicate the patient if this is his/her first visit to the hospital, if it is, the receptionist asks for the patients information and a file is created for the patient on the hospitals computer system. The patient tells the receptionist which doctor and when they want to reserve an appointment. The receptionist then checks on the computer reservation system if there are any available appointments t the desired time and if not he tell the patient the first available appointment. If the desired appointment is available then in the case of the normal patient, the patient pays and gets a receipt. The patient is given a floor add up (where the examination room is on) and is asked to head there and is advised to give the receipt to the suckle who is sitting at a desk on this floor. The nurse then takes the receipt and enters the information in a ledger (the days list of patients) she has to organize patients and then gives the patient his number (on a first come first served basis). She checks the patients ID and goes to the inventory to find the patients medical record. If this was his first visit, she gets a new clean-living medical form. The medical records are given to the doctor later. If the patient has an insurance or forget get a discount the above process is the same the difference is that at the time of payment, the pat ient presents his/her insurance card (or union membership card) to the receptionist who then checks if he has a contract and with which insurance company and the beat of discount he will get.The payment is settled according to the discount rate and the receptionist finishes the reservation process and gives the patient three sets of papers to sign along with the normal receipt. The papers are for the insurance company or union (One for the hospital, one for the company and one for the patient). The receptionist keeps one of the signed forms and advises the patients to go to the doctor as previously mentioned. If the doctor cancels his appointments for the day the hospital then calls the patients informing them of this change and gives them another appointment. If the patient has made his appointment in an earlier day, before his appointment hell first head to the nurse on the clinics floor to give her his papers and take his number. At the time of the appointment, all patients wait in the waiting area for his/her name to be called by the nurse at the desk that al fixate gave him his number on the days list of patients. When the doctor arrives the nurse provides him with the list of patients by their order. She also gives him the medical records of all the patients. After the patients name is called he goes into the doctors office to be examined and mention his/her complaint. The doctor checks the patients medical record, if there is any, to get a clearer background about his health. After the examination, the doctor can then give the patient a prescription or orders a few tests to be made, and if needed advises the patient to schedule a follow up consult to check on the progress of the treatment or to check the results of the test. The doctor writes everything down in the medical record (the complaint, diagnosis and recommended treatment), the form is given to the nurse to return to the archive at the end of the day.The number of consults may vary depending on the ability of the doctor to pin point the patients illness and the treatments effectiveness. The doctor also has a document where he keeps information about all the patients that he has seen on that day. If tests are required then the hospital offers the lab as a complimentary service to the out-patient clinic. There are two labs one in the outpatient clinic building and one in the hospitals main building. The first step to get the tests done is for the patient to take the papers with the prescribed tests to be registered in the hospitals computer system which is located on the ground floor. The patient will then get a paper which s/he will then take to the nurses sitting at a window located immediately next to the lab, they will take the paper and then tell the patient to go into the lab to be tested. The patient will then be told when his results will be ready to be picked up. The patient can reserve for a consult the same way s/he reserve for a regular examination. Go to Appendi ces 1 2 for more illustration about the service delivery process at the out-patient clinics.Evaluation and Analysis of Al Salam Hospitals inspection and repair Service concept and characteristics Service ConceptThe hospital should be able to offer all things a patient can need out-patient clinics for examinations, emergency rooms, intensive fearfulness units, x-rays and labs, .. etc The employees should feel that they are saving lives not just having a normal job. The community should treat the hospital as a crucial facility that they need to help and do what they can to help it operate. The treatment should be as efficient and professional as possible and make the patients feel safe and sound so that they would receive their regular treatments there and recommend it to their families and friends. The construct of the hospital takes into consideration the devices needed, emergency rooms, moving large objects as beds in corridors and elevators. The interior design is suited to a hospital and allocation of rooms and floors takes into account the psychology of patients (i. e. departments with a high death rate like intensive care units and genus Cancer patients should be located away from newly born babies and incubators). The hospital is marketed based on the names of the doctors working there and how successful they are in treatment. buns Market SegmentAL Salam Hospital is a private hospital focusing on average and above average-income families. This market is not usually price-sensitive when it comes to healthcare go. This community necessitate a professional hygienic hospital which they trust to be able to go to for regular examinations, consultations, tests and emergencies The most important segment is of those of the elderly generation because they usually get sick more. However, it is important that the hospital builds it ties of trust with the customers throughout their whole life.Distinctive Characteristics of the Service at Al-Salam Simultaneit y It is the fact that services are created and consumed at the same time at the hospital, the patient enters the room, the doctor examines the patient (the customer) and the patient receives this service simultaneously. For example if a patient comes to the hospital and is diagnosed as having a very low blood pressure the doctor will hook the patient to a salt solution IV which will filch the patients blood pressure.PerishabilityThe service is perishable which means it cannot be stored. If the patient doesnt come at the reserved time, a lost opportunity has occurred at that time. An hour without patients during a doctors shift can be considered as a lost opportunity and the money that the hospital was mantic to make at that time will never be compensated. Faced with variable demand and time-perishable capacity to provide the service, the managers of the hospital used the following techniques * smoothen demand by using reservations or appointments Allowed patients to wait. * Acce pted more patients than the time capacity. Intangibility Services are ideas and concepts, not products. The patient experiences the service that the doctor offers he doesnt touch it or see it. The intangible nature of services presents a problem for customers. When buying a product, the customer is able to see it, feel it, and test its performance before purchase. But for a service, things are different. The doctor tried to overcome this intangibility feature through making the intangible tangible arduous to stop the pain that the customer feels. He did this through examination and then medication. Another way through which the hospital overcame this intangibility feature was the reliance on reputation and word-of-mouth. Al Salam hospital is very well-known by its good reputation and its customers who are really satisfied with the service delivery system. This two features encourages population to guarantee that when they go to this hospital, they will be satisfied even though its n ot a product that they can really see and touch. heterogeneousness The combination of the intangible nature of services and the customer as a participant in the service delivery system results in a var. of the service being offered from one customer to customer next at the same doctor, lets take a dentist for instance, each customer might have a different kind of pain and thus, needs a unique method of treatment. On a larger scale each customer needs a certain doctor based on his/her illness. Al Salam hospital offers a variety of doctors with different specializations. Also, there is a cafeteria for patients that provides a variety of diet and drinks to satisfy as much patients as possible. There is cooked food, biscuits, cheese, sandwichesetc. And as for the drinks there were many kinds of them such as juice, tea, coffeeetc.
